Lesson 49
Expressing your feelings to someone
ããĒããŽãã¨ãåĨŊãã§ã
Main Lesson Audio
Key Phrase
'åĨŊãã§ã' (suki desu) is used for things or people you like. It's technically a 'na-adjective', not a verb, so it's often preceded by the particle 'ã' (ga).
To express affection, you can say 'X ãŽãã¨ãåĨŊãã§ã' (X no koto ga suki desu). 'ãŽãã¨' (no koto) softens the statement, making it sound more natural and thoughtful than just 'X ãåĨŊãã§ã'.
